Language plays an important part in helping people feel seen by having their identities recognised; this is especially true for racially diverse marginalised communities In this session we will explore how to navigate terminology around race.
Research indicates that racially diverse employees face greater levels of discrimination and exclusion at work than any other marginalised communities. In addition to recruitment, pay and promotion discrimination, these individuals experience many unique forms of exclusion. Join the discussion and share your experiences/learn from others
This webinar, examines how context and societal norms impact the stereotypes and attitudes towards racially diverse communities. In particular, the webinar explores how people from these community came to be stigmatised by an examining people’s attitudes through history.
