In Memory of Stephen Lawrence
Stephen Lawrence a Black teen from London city
Murdered by a gang of white males in 1993.
Wai�ng for a bus with a friend to go home when the gang atacked.
His friend got away but stephen lost his life at the hands of the racist
maniacs.
Stephen’s friend escaped without physical hurt.
But stephen was le� dead lying in his own blood and street dirt.
Dobson killed stephen because of the colour of his skin.
Racism is illegal murder is illegal and a sin.
This did not stop Dobson from taking Stephens young life.
It did not stop him from stabbing him in the chest with a knife.
Today 22 April 2021 we celebrate a talented young man.
Who was murdered in his prime before his life even began.
We will remember you always as you remain in our hearts.
We pray for your family who were all torn apart.
We will con�nue to grow and to build your dreams.
To protect young Black children and young Black teens
Protect them from harm because of the colour of their
skin. We will work to eradicate racism and aim to win.
To win over the racist to help them to value and to respect.
Your life, your experience we will never forget.
