Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Open Course

Creating an inclusive workplace begins with understanding people — their identities, experiences and the barriers they may face. This course introduces the foundations of equality, diversity and inclusion, helping delegates explore bias, discrimination, protected characteristics and respectful communication. Through practical examples and reflective learning, participants gain the confidence to support colleagues, challenge unfair behaviour and contribute to a culture where everyone feels valued. It’s an essential programme for organisations committed to fairness and belonging.

Open vs In‑House Courses

Open courses are public Equality and Diversity UK training dates that anyone can book onto, ideal when you only need training for one or two people.

In‑house courses are private sessions delivered exclusively for a group of people from your organisation, on a date that suits you, with the option to tailor the content to your staff and setting.

This Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Essentials training course has been designed to help learners understand more about their responsibilities for promoting equality, tackling all forms of discrimination and fostering good relationships between diverse groups of people in the workplace. The learning package covers all areas of equality legislation, policies, processes, procedures and best practice.

Ideal for staff in any sector, this course provides delegates with an understanding of how the values, opinions and prejudices of an individual can influence those around them, and how this can lead to discrimination.
