Hope
In shadows deep, where pain resides,
Hope's gentle light, our guide provides.
From Manchester's sorrow, Southport's strife,
We seek the dawn of a kinder life.
Two young souls rest, in peace, they sleep,
While we who mourn must rise and keep
A promise firm, a pledge we make,
To mend the world, for their dear sake.
Equality, our steadfast goal,
A brighter future, for every soul.
We'll break the chains of hate and fear,
Embrace the love that's always near.
Discrimination, we shall defy,
With hearts united, reaching high.
Fostering bonds, in every street,
Where diverse hands and spirits meet.
Together strong, we’ll stand as one,
Till violence fades, till peace is won.
Not words alone, but actions bold,
A legacy of love, we’ll mould.
So let us rise, each voice, each hand,
In every town, across the land.
For in our unity, hope is found,
A better world, on sacred ground.
Rest gently, children, in your grace,
Your memories guide our human race.
With hope renewed, we face each day,
And in your names, we find our way.
