Privileged

Please let me speak and hear what I have to say.

Please stop interrupng and pung obstacles in my way
I am trying to share my experience of racism in my everyday life.

Yet you are not wanng to listen only share your strife.

Your privileges of being male and white.

Do not allow you to see my issues experience and shite.

Please don’t minimise my lived experience please don’t shut me up.

Your facial expressions, your body language and porolio of ‘tuts’.

Make me feel anxious affect my mental health.
Make me feel devalued and denies my experience and stealth.

Racism is ugly, it’s toxic and it’s wrong.

Minimising my experience does not help, it makes my journey painful

               and long.

You are in a posion of power; you can educate and share.

So, take your job seriously and at least act as if you care.
