Any child or young person can be affected
in some way by racism in school, whether
they are personally from a Black, Asian or
minority ethnic background or not.
If it is left unaddressed, racism in school
WIDER environments can have a range of negative
impacts on learners who are not directly
IMPACTS affected by these issues.
It can influence their values and attitudes,
making it difficult for them to appreciate,
respect and value the diverse range of
people they will meet and interact with in
their lives.
