Ensuring staff are trained and have
                                                              opportunities to consolidate and refresh their

                                                              learning is key.


                                                              Equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI) training

                                                              should be provided to staff across the School
                                    STAFF                     – remember, children also come into contact

                                                              with school librarians, receptionists,
                          TRAINING                            caretakers and others.



                                        AND                   Specific training on anti-racist approaches

                                                              should also be sought.
               DEVELOPMENT                                    EDI training should part of CPD plans with




                                                              identified points for review to ensure
                                                              effectiveness.



                                                              Evaluations should address impact and
                                                              answer the question: ‘What difference has

                                                              this made?’
