Ensuring appropriate recording of racist
incidents may be especially important for
schools with a lower minority ethnic
population, as lower numbers of children
and young people directly affected by
RECORDING racism will mean fewer people are likely to
directly complain about racist bullying.
INCIDENTS In these cases, racist attitudes and
behaviours might still be prevalent.
Recording racist incidents allows this to be
explored and provides the evidence needed
to ensure any problems are pro-actively
addressed.
