• Explore stereotypes and emphasise that we must never judge, a

stereotype doesn’t allow for any individual characteristics, can

we really generalise about an entire group of people just

because they have one thing in common?

• Do we really know which of the options would be a good or bad

neighbour?

• Discuss the damaging effects that stereotypes held by teachers

could have on learners e.g. black children are better at sport,

Travellers are not interested in education.
