The Prime Minister say his girls won’t face racism in years to come
In shadows deep, a Spectre lurks, unseen,
A subtle poison, quiet, yet keen.
Like silent cancer, it creeps and spreads,
Through streets and hearts, where prejudice treads.
No longer bold as in the days of old,
But stealthy, sly, its tales untold.
In UK's lanes, it finds its abode,
A secret foe along life's road.
From youth to age, it whispers lies,
In innocent minds, it seeds disguise.
Some turn away, blind to its snare,
While others speak, bold and aware.
We journey on, at varied pace,
Some in silence, some in grace.
But courage calls to challenge the norm,
To face the storm, to break the form.
We code-switch, assimilate, we bend,
To fit the mould, to blend, pretend.
Yet in our hearts, the truth remains,
Racism's stain, its silent chains.
From childhood's innocence to adult's plight,
It haunts our days; it dims our light.
But together, united, we can rise,
To dismantle, to confront, to realise.
Let laws be forged, let jusce stand,
To hold the line, to raise the hand.
For only in unity, can we find,
The strength to heal, the es that bind.
So let us stand, hand in hand,
To face the foe, to make a stand.
For in our unity, lies the key,
To break the chains, to set us free.
