Rosa Parks
In the face of oppression, she stood tall,
Rosa Parks, a beacon for us all.
On that bus, she took her stand,
Defying unjust laws of her land.
With quiet strength and unwavering grace,
She challenged segregaon's dark embrace.
Her courage sparked a flame so bright,
Igning a movement for what's right.
A simple act, a profound decree,
She fought for jusce, equality, for you and me.
In her defiance, she paved the way,
For freedoms we cherish every day.
In the face of hatred, she chose love,
A testament to the power thereof.
Her legacy, a guiding light,
Guiding us through the darkest night.
Rosa Parks, an icon of hope,
Her bravery helped us to cope.
We honour her, our hearts revere,
For the freedoms we now hold dear.
