In Memory of Brianna Ghey

Gone too soon, a soul so bright,

In shadows cast by cruel night.

Murdered for being her, they say,

Yet her spirit forever in our sway.

No words can fathom such despair,

A life snatched by hate's dark glare.

For merely being, she paid the cost,

Her light exnguished; a beauful soul lost.

In the embrace of endless sky,

               Brianna's memory will never die.

Peace and love to those feeling torn,

May healing dawn with each new morn.

Rest in heavenly peace, Brianna dear,
               Your presence etched, forever near.

Know you were loved, will ever be,

In hearts, in souls, eternally free.

May jusce rise, like the morning sun,
To honour the batles, she has won.

In her name, let kindness grow,

And the seeds of love, let them sow.

In memory of Brianna Ghey, may she rest in peace.

               Alyson
