Skin colour should not be a barrier

Pause and think before you speak,

Skin colour quesons, just let it peak.

Baby's hue, not a game to play,

Love's what maters, let it stay.

Black and white, a cool blend,

               Baby’s skin don't apprehend.

Why care about the colour name?

Love's the key, not the same.

My granddaughter, a mix so neat,

No family fuss, just love, no deceit.

Four years passed, no colour chat,

               Love stands strong, judgment flat.

My niece and nephew, thires' grace,
No queries 'about their skin trace.

Skin tone talk? Nah, not here,

Love conquers all, nothing to fear.

If you're asking 'bout the unborn’ s skin,
Ask yourself, what's the reason within?

Why know if it won't change a thing?

Let go of biases, let love swing.
