Thinking out loud

In fancy places where big decisions are made,
They put someone who looks different to parade.

But it is just for show, a game they played,
They treat them bad, like they are afraid.

They say they are diverse, but it is all a trick,

They do not really care; they just want to look slick.
They do not listen to them, they just flick,

Their opinions away, like a broken sck.

It is not enough to have them around,
They should be heard, their ideas sound.

Being treated right should be the ground,
For true equality to be found.

In a world where people look so different,

Do not judge them by what is outside, be prudent.
The way someone appears may deceive,

So do not assume or let stereotypes cleave.

Skin tone, size, or beauty's grace,
None of these should dictate our embrace.

Let us not let biases cloud our view,

Instead, let empathy and understanding ensue.
From distant lands or close by,

Each soul has a story, do not deny.

               Abilies vary, talents bloom,
In every heart, there's ample room.

Let us break the barriers, tear down the walls,
Embrace the unknown, where unity calls.

For in geng to know, in seeking to learn,

We dispel ignorance and let empathy burn.
So, let us not judge, let us not condemn,

Let us celebrate diversity, for therein lies the gem.
In hearts and minds, let acceptance reside,

And together, in harmony, let us stride.
