Black History. It’s more than just a month
In October's waning light, we reflect and see,
Black History Month, a call for unity.
Yet know, it's not a chapter bound by me,
But an ongoing quest, a mountain we must connue to climb.
Events and acons, across the land we've sown,
Listening, learning, understanding, we've grown.
We cherish courageous conversaons about race,
In books and courses, we've found our place.
Networks united to make the change,
Enhancing BHM, we rearrange.
Blogs and poems, on our digital stage,
We share our voices, in this modern age.
As October fades, a new journey begins,
To batle microaggressions, where discriminaon spins.
Culturally competent courses, we shall employ,
To empower allies and HR with a heart full of joy.
For subtle acts of exclusion, we will stand tall,
Supporng those who have faced the workplace's thrall.
Trauma healed, with empathy and grace,
Together, we stride, embracing this race.
So let us celebrate the end of BHM's sway,
With a promise to connue, each and every day.
In the fight against discriminaon, we will persist,
For unity and jusce, on this path we insist.
