Hope

In shadows deep where sorrow dwells,

And news of hate our spirit quells,
We find our hearts in heavy chains,

Lost in a world of countless pains.

Yet hope, though faint, still lights our way,

A beacon bright in darkest day.

For every tear and cry of grief,

There blooms a flower, brings relief.

We dream of days where love will reign,

And justice soothes each human pain.

Where colour, creed, and faith unite,

In bonds of peace, a shared light.

No longer seen as "them" or "us",

               But all as one, harmonious.
Each soul a part of one grand whole,

In this belief, we find our goal.

So, hold on tight to dreams of peace,

And let not hope within us cease.

For every heart that beats with care,

Brings us closer, brings us there.

A world where kindness breaks the chains,

And every soul in love remains.

This dream of hope, let’s keep in sight,

Together, we will make it right.
