  Make use of specialist expertise in relation to race equality
                   issues when you need to.


              Liaise with colleagues and others with specialist race equality

                   knowledge to ensure systems have the flexibility to promote

                   race.

              Work out solutions to competing demands for resources that

                   do not compromise on equal participation in and enjoyment of

                   learning by learners with diverse needs.

              Develop SMART race equality objectives.


              Be clear about the parts everyone must play and the steps that
                   will be taken to achieve these race equality objectives.


              Monitor, review and report on progress towards these race

                   equality objectives.

              Publish one or more SMART race equality objectives at least

                   every four years in a form the public can access.

              Evidence your organisation’s compliance with the public sector

                   equality duty.
