Reverse Mentoring Training Course

The Reverse Mentoring programme provides a platform demonstrating Equity, Diversity and Belonging. It is about partnership working and partnership learning

The training is offered to HR, Resource professionals and to individuals within the organisation who are who are interested in the process of supporting and enabling an effective 'matching process' in the pairings of SLT/Board members/chairs with junior staff members.

Course Overview

Once the reverse mentors and mentees have been identified, they will be suitably “matched”

As part of their development, they will be introduced to the practices and principles of EDIB as a means of gaining further understanding from various situations and peoples’ perspectives.

This programme is designed to empower and encourage each participant to learn from one another, with the aim of improving the reverse mentors and mentees’ understanding of the organisation and working relationships through each others lenses.

This will give the reverse mentor (a more junior member of staff) and insight from a more senior perspective and, the mentee (the senior member of staff) insight into this from the more junior members' perspective and their lived experiences within the organisation.
